Welcome

There is nothing like walking into a movie theatre on a Friday evening. Smelling fresh popcorn and seeing the posters of upcoming movies just gets me so excited. I have loved movies ever since I can remember. Even today at 37 years of age, I can vividly remember being disappointed as a young child when Home Alone 2 was sold out all over Richmond its first weekend. There is not a man alive that did not want to be as cool as Tom Cruise in Top Gun or as bad*ss as Bruce Willis in a Die Hard movie. This page is dedicated to a few of the movies that have made my short list of favorites and are movies that I could watch at least once a week for the rest of my life.

I have probably seen well over 1,000 movies of all different genres. While I love action movies like most red blooded Americans, my favorite genre is Thriller/Suspense. I find it interesting to be so engaged in a movie that keeps you guessing until the very end. The three movies that I chose to talk about more for the purpose of this assignment are The Departed, Mystic River, and Training Day. Each of these movies left their own incredible cinematic fingerprint in the movie world and I would recommend seeing all three if you have not done so already.
